The single will be released as a 500 copy limited edition 2 song picture disc, b/with ''Rue the Day'', on September 9th via the Heartworm Press. Pre-order your copy here.

The Idea Of Love is Cold Cave at it's most passionate, coolest, punkest and rawest, recalling the early primitive recordings that made up the Cremations release, even using much of the same salvaged and battered thrift store equipment as used on those early recordings. It should be clear by now that Cold Cave is existing in their own world, releasing music in any format and at any time they choose. An evolution by it's own rules, laughing happily outside of the tired norm of music industry convention.

Exclusive Premiere: Sticky Air Music Video For Debut Single "Set Sail"

London funk polyrhythmic/new wave young four piece Sticky have aired the video for their energetic debut single "Set Sail".

The track is a real sign of change within the younger part of the music industry, showing a real no-nonsense approach was simple clever production simmering guitars stabbing though funked out rhythms. With a sound straight out of a late 70s New York dive bar and a UK tour looming over them later in the year the single 'Set Sail' is a great example of what "sticky" do best and a reminder of a more interesting time in music.

The single is out today (August 29) b/w Bengoshi Mind via Fort Records. Grab it here.

Motorama Anounce New LP 'Dialogues', Share Trailer

Russian dream-pop quintet Motorama have announced they will release their fourth studio album titled 'Dialogues' in October via Talitres.

“I always try to have it all recorded uncut, in one breath, and have it thus enhanced in its delicate rugged beauty. (…) As I have figured it out, demos sometimes and even often happen to sound better than the actual records to be released”, Vladislav Parshin - vocals/guitar - revealed to Magic magazine in February 2015. As expected, the new record is no exception to that rule. As to the distinctive melodies, harmonies and lyrical texts, everything has just gone with the flow day after day in a do-it-yourself fashion that the band have been drawing on, up to the oldie but goodie Tascam Portastudio home recording mastered in a few short weeks.

Check out the tracklist and watch a trailer below.

We wanted to make something that reflected the beauty of that, and the wisdom that plants can give us about living harmoniously on this beautiful planet.”

Emperor Luke Steele said of recording in Hawaii, “Going to Hawaii to record was the best idea. That was the catalyst for me. I’d spend the morning surfing, then roll in and make music into the night.”
